Community Voices

Advocates from the group “Fullerton is Our Home, Belonging for All Immigrants” are rallying to support individuals affected by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions in the community. The rally is scheduled for November 4 at 5:15 PM in front of the Fullerton City Hall, located at 303 Commonwealth Ave.

Participants are encouraged to gather at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Highland Avenue to demonstrate their solidarity with immigrants in the area. This event precedes a crucial City Council meeting set to begin at 5:30 PM, where council members will discuss potential policies related to the immigrant community.

According to the rally flier, advocates are urging the council to provide “legal and financial aid for victims of ICE’s actions in our city.” The outcome of the meeting holds significant importance for many residents who have been impacted by federal immigration enforcement.

Community members and supporters are called to join the rally to amplify their voices in favor of protecting the rights and welfare of all individuals living in Fullerton.
