It is our 30th year when we come back on the air. And like most 30-year-olds, we are still thinking about going to law school.”

   >He continued, “But listen, we want to thank everybody. We don’t take for granted in any way how much your support means, so that we get a chance to keep making the best show that we can make for you. So we truly appreciate that. Thank you.”

3. Were they until now renewed year by year? Because Colbert had a multi year contract, that’s why his show will end next year instead of now (as per Trump’s wishes).

   Because if not, this doesn’t sound good and they won’t get another year after that. So, enjoy them while you can.
