I sometimes wonder if there’s an irish restaraunt on some level of Chongqinq lurking in a shadow somewhere selling batter-burgers, chips, and maybe a strange sinocised version of boxty – things that one some level seem foreign to the Chinese but are only the slightest resemblance to the things normally eaten in Ireland, adapted for the local pallets.

  5. its the 2 quid that has me triggered. two fucking quid for a small pot of sauce. i havent had a chipper meal in over ten years though, must try one again when im back, id imagine it will be 20 euro of something now though.
