  1. Different spin to mama Merkel who was all Open The Gates! Funny how time changes our outlook

  2. Many of them already have citizenship. You’re stuck with them. The asylum and refugee laws are no longer fit for purpose.

  3. I somehow don’t think the poor people who used an oppressive regime as an excuse to leave are going to voluntarily go back to being poor in their home country despite said regime no longer being in power.

As if anyone could have seen this coming 😱

  4. Do we consider Syria safe now that the ex AlQuaeda guy who used to pose with decapitated heads is in charge?

  5. I am not far right first to clarify. Secondly I think this topic is gaining such traction because real problem is not solved. Nobody should be striped citizenship period. But if someone comes to any EU country he/she should have time to learn language of that country laws and customs and if they prove this that they can speak they should gain citizenship because they integrated. If not they should be sent home. This would end this topic for far right and solve problems with immigrants that just are abusing European generosity. Anyone not willing to learn language and customs of hosting country shouldn’t be allowed to become citizen.

  6. So-called “centrist” politicians all over Western Europe now see that they must get tough on illegal immigration and refugees to prevent the takeover by the right-wing anti-immigrant parties. And this is crucial because the right wing parties are usually pro-Russia and tools of Putin.

  7. The problem is that those ‘immigrants’ are not culturally compatible. Germany has tried hard for decades to integrate Turkish, Syrians, Africans, Iranians etc. with little progress. Unfortunately that experiment has largely failed and is straining the welfare state. Reality is a bitch.

  8. Of couse , send they home , there is not civil war there any longer . They can travel home and rebuild there countrey . As we did after 2 war 1945 . No pardon

  9. Never thought I’d say this but for once, my country does something right

  10. That should be self evident. Once the political and humanitarian conditions have improved there is no reason to continue to give asylum. Make room for others in need.

  11. The war is over, refugee status is supposed to be temporary, contingent on there being a conflict. This is simply a logical conclusion

  12. Wow! Applause for this man! Warning the refugees so they can go to other European countries before they enact any laws!

I’m sure other European countries will be happy as well.
