  1. >A rail worker credited with saving multiple lives during a mass stabbing on a train has been named as Samir Zitouni.

    >The 48-year-old’s actions on the Doncaster to London King’s Cross service on Saturday evening were described as “nothing short of heroic”.

    >Mr Zitouni remains “critically unwell” but stable in hospital, British Transport Police said.

  2. I hope this hero has a speedy recovery. Such a legend to risk his life for others when most wouldn’t even think to.

  3. Samir Zitouni remains _”critically unwell” but stable in hospital, British Transport Police said._ Hope he pulls through 🙏

  4. The man should never have to pay for a pint. Put himself in danger and stopped a tragedy becoming worse.

  5. A little observation.

Just imagine the frothing and exploding at GBNews and Reform UK if the knifeman had been called Samir Zitouni and the train guard hero called Anthony Williams.

On Sunday morning this sub was full of people wanting to round up all the “Samir Zitounis” and remove them. Where are those people now?

  6. Oooooohh ouch. All those Reform flagshaggers are going to be gutted to find out who this guy is.

Watch this disappear off the front pages in nano seconds.

An Algerian immigrant if what I read is correct who put his life on the line for others. Apparently was utterly heroic. Nigel is going to hate this.

  7. Wonder what changed in the UK. Knife crime increased 80% in the last ten years.

  8. Why is it so quiet in here? This is amazing and should be shared on front pages everywhere

  9. If the attacker had this man’s name, the narrative would be wholly different and quite ugly. This man was just as, if not more heroic than the other (white) rail worker who is being rightly championed in news media – let’s hope Mr Zidouni gets the same love and respect for his heroism.

Forget British patriotism, this is human patriotism.
