The Prince of Wales began his second day in Brazil by visiting the island of Paquetá. Prince William had the opportunity to meet members of the local community and representatives from the Ministry of Environment

The Prince of Wales visited the mangroves in Guanabara Bay 🇧🇷

Prince William toured the Guapimirim mangrove area, managed by the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio), to learn about the restoration work taking place there. HRH will meet representatives from local communities who have been helping to clean and protect the region's waters and wildlife.

  5. Paquetá Island is where my grandmother is from. I used to go there every summer as child and lived there for a few months. It’s such a niche destination. I’m so shocked that William visited! I saw some acquaintances in the pictures with him.

  6. He seems genuine and kind and patient. If he’s really not, he’s a better actor than his sister-in-law.

    He knows people are excited to see him and it’s rare to see him not trying his best to make it a memorable experience.
