Afternoon all! A little while ago I shared my hand drawing of London in 0.03mm and thank you so much for the kind words and feedback. Quite a few people suggested it would make a fun coloured jigsaw so I’ve started experimenting with that idea!

I wanted to share some work in progress images as I figure out how to adapt the artwork into puzzle format.

Would love to hear what you think especially from anyone who’s tried something similar or just enjoys puzzles and London-themed art.

Thanks again for all the encouragement!

  1. Awesome work mate! Seen your drawing of London before. Stoked to see this coloured in!

  2. Am I acting dumb here. What do you mean by 0.03mm?

  3. You drew an old home of mine, ah memories. Really cool.

  4. I’ve not done anything like this but I wonder if r/crafts might be a good place to post and see if anyone there has any advice?

  5. What a fantastic idea. I want 1 already!

I’d like the pieces to be cut using the shapes of the buildings. For example big Ben might be 1 piece, and portcullis house another piece. I think the difficulty will be in getting all the pieces to lock together without any weakness in the pieces.

  6. This is incredible work! I’d love to frame the completed jigsaw puzzle by my wall

  7. Thank you for making it all about north of the river, a nice even split is welcomed

  8. Hey Jack, looking forward to buying your print of the the above art soon. It’s been in my favorites for ages until I redecorate my office 🙂 keep up the great work

  9. This looks great! I would absolutely buy this as a jigsaw puzzle!

  10. I’m looking at each picture saying, I’ve delivered there and there. And there.

  11. Yeah I’d buy one for a retired black taxi driver friend.

  12. I’d love a print of this, A3 or A2, nice and big. I’d put it in my office.

  13. If you get it packaged for sale before Christmas please post a link – would make an excellent gift

  14. Great job! That block in Elephant Park is near finished now 😉

  15. I’d buy that picture online in a heartbeat if it’s available?

  16. I purchased this print shortly after you introduced it, in A4, and have it proudly hanging in my hallway. I look at it daily: it’s as good as one hopes it would be in person. It’s amazing.

I would gladly buy the color print and puzzle when they come available!

  17. How do you draw to such detail without smudging the ink?

  18. I love the art style, but I’m afraid the artistic license on the geography would drive me to distraction!

  19. I’d buy this as a jigsaw in a heartbeat. Multiples for Christmas presents too!

  20. Aha – found my office, roughly the window id look out of. Whenever you post this I’m a taken aback by the detail, would love to know what your process was?
