  1. The difference between being a prisoner of war and serving with the Russian military is indistinguishable apparently

  2. “Wait, so you’re telling me you are *not* our commanding officer?”

  3. Red head looks traumatized or mentally disabled (more than normal Russian soldiers)

  4. The fact they don’t find it particularly strange to be tied up and shoved in a shed by their own is telling…

  5. The way they looked at each other lmao. Dumb and dumber.

  6. That’s the results of decades and generations of alcoolism…

At least they will be able to sleep a little bit, and probably get more food than what their commander would give them.

  7. Telling people who havent slept in 3 days to “wake up” is just peak funny

  8. They really thought they got to the objectives and their allies bound them, not considering for a second that it could be the enemy bounding them.

Do Russians just go from place to place getting raped BDSM style by their commanders?

Oh well. At least they surrendered.

  9. I can tell why they are confused. They are getting treated better as a POW than they were by their own commanders. Other than wrists taped together, they have better living conditions, and are not being yelled at or threatened, or insulted.

  10. My first thought was that they’re feigning ignorance so that they won’t get in trouble for surrendering later.

  11. I remember something like this happened during the Syrian civil war. Rebels army captured a Gov. army soldier and told him after some conversation what does he think of the rebels/free army, which he replied with vulgarity towards them, then they told him “that’s us”. he was very shocked after all the bad things he said about them XD

  12. Being captured is the best thing that could have happened to them

  13. The other guy looks like he’s a generation shy if being able to make fire

  14. I’m always astounded how old the russian soldiers appear. Half of our det in Vietnam were teenagers. The LT(Navy) OIC was 23 or 24. I (AOIC) was still 22 when we returned from our deployment. The Senior Chief was mid thirties, the oldest. How can these old decrepit guys contribute in any meaningful manner?

  15. Glad for these dimwits that they didn’t get blown up.

  16. Jesus Christ. I wonder if being handcuffed is the way the Russian military keeps its recruits! No wonder they couldn’t tell.

  17. I absolutely love how they just can’t tell the difference between being a prisoner of war and a regular day in the Russian military.

  18. This is probably the result of an isolated narration made by Russia. I don’t even think these blokes knew they were going to war tbh. Completely disconnected from reality.

  19. I actually laughed out loud at the look they gave each other.

  20. I mean, the one guy says they haven’t slept in 3 days – their ‘intelligence’ issues aside, sleep deprivation is a helluva thing and significantly affects mental functioning. Especially if they’ve been already out thru limited rations & a lot of physical activity.

  21. In their defense, this is how their own military treats them too. Like prisoners

  22. This is the result of russian military “hazing” AKA, torture. Due to the sleep deprivation I doubt they even realised he was talking to a Ukrainian, this stuff is “normal” for them. Being bound and beaten is their daily routine.

  23. 1000 yard stare with guy on the right. They prob can not think straight
