  2. Feels like these leading indicators have been indicating for a while… Last year this time, people were shipping more ahead of Jan 1 tariffs. These could just be a signal of return to normal. Need more data

  4. The article notes that they expect to see reductions in transportation employment. are employment levels holding steady for the moment and when would this show up in the numbers if freight doesn’t revive?

  5. Trucking/Shipping is way down for a good part of a year. You’d never know this by watching mainstream network corporate owned news.

    Sanctions: Stop exports

    Trump found the solution to trade deficit, no trade at all.
