    Edit: It is in honour of Despot Stefan Lazarević, Serbian despot from 15th century, who built this monastery and was also amember of the Order of the Dragon.

  2. I wonder if they took inspiration from this for Hogwarts quidditch stadium. Those towers look quite similar.

  3. Funny how so many monasteries around the world make me think that maybe being a monk wouldn’t be so bad. But then that hot second passes and I’m back to normal.

  4. Fun fact. There are two hills surrounding the monastery, Mother in law and Son in law. Many Serbs don’t know this and didn’t learned at school, including me. My grandma told me.
