  1. My partner’s grandma makes vafler almost every time we visit her and serves them with a plethora of things, but my favourite combo is a waffle with her homemade strawberry jam. Heavenly.

  2. Mmmm…. This might be more controversial than the nynorsk and bokmål debates of yore… Ever tried blueberry jam, sour cream and bacon on Norwgian waffles… It’s a family favorite…

    Also, not to be picky but why do you put the preserve on top of the brunost? Does it not have more of a chance to fall off instead of integrated into the waffle divots?

  3. What is this madness? Jam underneath the cheese makes it so you can put your finger on the cheese without getting messy. What you have done here might a actually cause the cheese to slide off 😳
