    Now he could get his cronies to end this shit but I feel like he’ll give it a few more days for safety. At his age, he may not have many more shut downs in his future so he needs to make it count cause he hates Americans

  8. The Republicans don’t care. They don’t want the ACA (thank the special interest and lobbyist), and the shutdown will ultimately give them that.

    They’re going to make it look as good as they can, but they have no reason to budge.

  9. The Dems folding this week after there victories today would be beyond stupid. I feel any deal will be immediately dropped by the GOP when the government reopens.

  10. the Guardians of Pedophiles just got swept in the elections, this shutdown is hurting them badly. The Democrats have literally no reason to fold whatsoever.

  11. If Trump and/or politicians were smart, the first law they would pass after the shutdown ends would be to ensure that the military gets paid even during government shutdowns. (Ie no need to pull funding from elsewhere.)

How to resolve the shutdown and reopen the government in 2 hours: Republicans – “Okay, we agree not to eliminate the ACA subsidies until such time that we can come up with a bi-partisan plan to either fix the program or replace it”. “And, we are not lying and will tell Donald J. Trump this is our plan and we are sticking to it, regardless of how he threatens us” Vote. Done.

  18. Damn, Trump actually acted normal for almost 5 minutes. Admitted it was a bad night for Republicans, correctly diagnosed that it was because of the shutdown, didn’t accuse rigging or that their candidates weren’t “MAGA enough”, said that he would talk with Senate Republicans on what do to moving forward… then he compared Senate Democrats to kamikaze pilots
