  1. Regional hard candys from Silesia. rhubarb (rabarbar) flavour are the best. The Black ones are anise with herbs flavour.

  2. I guess. There is a lot of sentiment towards these (cans that long ago were used as packages are practically antiques nowadays). The taste is, well, let’s just say of an acquired type.

  3. They come from Upper Silesia, they are manufactured at least since 19th century. According to historians, originally they were given to coal miners to treat their throats after inhaling unhealthy amounts of dust while underground.

In modern days they are nothing but a treat, coming in quite unique flavours you won’t find in other hardcandies.

The black one is evil though

    Don’t eat black one

  4. Souvenirs from Upper Silesia. They have distinct flavor, so yes, they are special.

  5. No, don’t eat them op, I don’t want you to be influenced by…

ALE PIERONISZ JERONIE, RICHTIG DOBRE BOMBONY

  6. Black one is evil the best is rhubarb or the purple one u have in ur hands

  7. They’re often filled with drugs in the Upper Silesia especially

The green ones have a bit of lsd injected onto them (try looking for the needle hole on the wrapper)

The purple one as seen in the picture has been opened and resealed, it’s been covered in cocaine

The brown one has acid in it (just like green one look for the needle hole)

The black one is a lump of coal

    Enjoy

  8. They’re traditional hard candy from Upper Silesia. Or to be precise the black one (herbs and anise flavor) and a pink/red one (that you’re missing in this picture, rhubarb flavor) are traditional. Few other flavors have been added since then and you have some of those: coffee, apple-cinamon and plum-grape.

The black ones are especially nostalgic for upper silesians as it’s something you’d get from your grandpa, then they disappeared for few decades and only became widely available again like 10 years ago.

  9. How come you didn’t ask the friend? Seems like a good conversation starter

  10. gather amolok and rhubarb szklok to obtain all of the infinity candies
