  5. I am in an ethical dilemma between impulsively- compulsively commenting everytime I see her about her mafia links and about condemning this disgusting animal act . So I am gonna do both.

  12. Seems like very convenient timing for this to happen right after that Mexican mayor got murdered and all the reports were coming out saying that he was begging her to protect him from the cartels.

  15. This is why women don’t go to bars, nightclubs, or use dating apps at nearly the same rate as men.

One of the few mayors that was actively vocal against the cartels and that numerous times during the last months asked for protection to not be murdered was murdered this last weekend and the president’s reputation took a hit… This morning she mostly talked about this alleged incident… coincidence?

  18. I was strangely affected by the Veep episode where she gets groped. Doesn’t matter how powerful a woman is, if a man wants to touch her it’ll happen

  20. Having lived in Mexico, this behavior isn’t surprising. The culture is deeply disrespectful towards women. We were not allowed to go out in public without at least one man, for safety purposes. What is surprising is the security detail didn’t react more aggressively to protect the president of a country. Sounds like she needs to swap a guy out. EDIT: to note, groper seems under the influence.

For anyone thinking this is a grotesque mishandling of the situation by security or anything of that sort, let’s remind you that just days ago a very popular independent and opposition Mayor was killed in public. So this wasn’t a security problem; this was a shameless staging of an incident to divert attention from the Mayor’s assassination that occurred days ago.

  28. In a country where politicians are brutally murdered on a fairly regular basis, the fact that the president herself can’t even get such basic security as to prevent a random drunken asshole from molesting her on the street is well beyond unacceptable.

    Even basic security is faulty in Mexico.

    The way the president barely reacted, how the bodyguards removed him GENTLY, the holstered gun of the guy, and his haircut are evidence.

    This is all a smokescreen to make people forget about Manzo’s assassination. Something similar happened to AMLO, former president.

    If you ain’t mexican, i invite you to inform yourself about the situation of the country. The current administration is doing whatever they can to deviate the attention from scandals like Manzo’s assassination, the illicit enrichment of Lopez Obrador’s kin and MORENA, Poza rica, “huachicol fiscal”, Sinaloa, adan augusto, hernan bermudez, government enabling the organized crime, and more.
