The breed of dog which killed a nine-month-old baby boy in an attack at a house in south Wales has been confirmed. A huge emergency response was sent to an address in Crossway, Rogiet, at around 6pm on Sunday, November 2.

A nine-month old boy was pronounced dead at the scene and a dog was taken away from the property and later put down. It has now been confirmed that the dog involved in the fatal attack was an XL bully which was registered with the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA).

  1. These animals and similar breeds should be banned completely. No ifs, buts or loopholes.

  2. Blame the owners for not training the dog correctly, xl bully’s are some of the most loyal dogs around aslong as they are trained.

  3. What a fucking obnoxious article. Its read like the author just wanted to annoy the reader.

  4. Is there any reasoned argument as to why they shouldn’t be banned?

  5. It’s never the dog though apparently. When will these people learn? Yes, chances of them attacking and killing isn’t exactly high, but if they do turn it’s a lot more serious than having your fingers snapped at from a chihuahua.

  6. “Not my bully!”

Every bully owner the day before it rips off a child’s face.

  7. People are still making the “it’s the owner, not the breed ” excuse for these four-legged orcs.

  8. It scares me that children in pushchairs are the perfect height for dogs to get to them too.
