Speitig dat nog steeds veel mensen antivaxx zijn omwille van de extreem rechtse politieke ideologie. Ik zie zelf op deze sub dat er steeds meer en meer mensen van die aard hun gevaarlijke ideen hier komen verkondigen.
The threshold of 500 ICU beds has been crossed, what the government uses as a measure to take stricter measures.
Unsurprisingly, the Flemish government (or at least Jambon) thinks it’s too soon. Wat we zelf doen, doen we vooral niet beter.
Vaccination rate is high. (Not high enough ? But diminishing returns to get vaccination higher and bed occupation lower.)
So where do we go from here ? (Long term plans.)
What are we willing to do to keep the pressure low / potential deaths low ?

2 things. I have family who works in ZOL who isn’t vaccinated. So by talking to reception, you could be infected. Why isn’t the government mandating vaccines?
Then: why is all of this so slow? So much bureaucracy. I live in SoCal and I could just walk in to get my Pfizer BOOSTER. and I’m not even part of the at risk group.
