  1. There’s a reason it’s always Americans saying “everyone could benefit from therapy”

  2. I live in the UK, my youngest sons school has a lockdown practice scheduled next week.

In the email they said all schools will be doing it, I’m guessing a terrorism was foiled and the plan was a primary school.

  3. I miss those savoury pancakes with beans and stuff inside

  4. Even the one school that did have to deal with that didn’t have to worry about it again.

  5. I moved to America from the uk when I was in third grade. I remember gym class was weird in London.  However, I did like the Irish lady who would sing us nice songs.

  6. I mean just being forced to sing ” Little Donkey” every Christmas as a child stays with you as an adult…

  7. I’ve always found the “not being destitute after a trip to the hospital” quite comforting too.

  8. Can i add as someone who lives and grown up in NI during and at the end of the troubles, there isnt many children who grew up fearing being killed in school.
Just putting it out there a litteral conflict zone.

  9. Narcissism in 3 split families wide. School was the escape

  10. I was in primary school when the Dunblane attack happened. I remember the absolute shared trauma on every parent’s face as they waited outside the school for us to be let out. But what I also remember is – aside from those poor kids at Dunblane who lived through the attack – not one other kid has had to share that trauma.

Because the horrible truth is that sometimes, horrible things happen. There will always be awful people who will find a way around every roadblock because they are determined to do something horrific.

A functioning, intelligent, moral society will see that, find out what can be done to make it harder for the next monster, and take action.

There will *always* be monsters in every society. Functioning societies take action to make it harder for the monsters. America seems determined to make it easier for them.

  11. Went to see the surgeon about my FREE hernia operation on the 5th of August. He saw something he didn’t like, now I’m having a 12 hr operation for stage 4 cancer AND plastic surgery on the 10th of November. Guess what, its FREE TOO. Go fuck yourself elon. 🤡

  12. There were only 2 things I had to worry about as a kid 1) The IRA and 2) Thermonuclear war. Simpler times.

  13. Elon Musk, born rich, illegal immigrant in the US, never lived in the UK, and probably spent more time on Epstein Island than here… but he sure has a lot to say about us.

  14. Daddy didn’t have a diamond mine but we coped. Probably helped that Dad didn’t have sexual relations with my siblings though.

  15. Also, none of us had to grow up with the name xhd@st or whatever it is he’s named his own kids! Certainly wouldn’t have got through school unscathed with that on the text books.

  16. Elmo can go fuck himself he has no idea and just promotes hate

  17. I bet the brethren kids were traumatised hearing a Christian poem during assembly

  18. Musky go to Sunny Rhyl then you will really need therapy

  19. Musk commenting on British life is really weird. Has he ever even been here or is he just talking to Nigel?

  20. As a British dude I just think America needs to actually start giving a big enough fuck about mental health
