  1. When you can no longer afford value brands, there is always shoe leather and fields full of grass.

    We are here to help.

    The Tory Party

  2. What about all the poor bastards that are already shopping for the value brands and having to use food banks ? They should just go fuck themselves I guess ?

Honestly these pricks need random drug and alcohol testing on a frequent basis. Cos some of the shit they come out with they have to be on drugs.

  3. It’s actually a « let them eat cake » moment…

« If people can’t afford food, they should stop shopping at Waitrose, and buy tesco value. This will see them through »

« Ils n’ont pas de pain? Et bien, mais qu’ils mangent de la brioche!… »

  4. All Tories are living in a different country of their imagination. If it’s tough living on MP’s salary, they can’t even imagine living on min wage or less.

  5. How do you get value brand rent, gas, electric and council tax? And broadband? And fuel?

It’s not just food that’s the issue. The answer to the cost of living crisis isn’t just telling people to buy Aldi’s own brand of biscuits.

  6. This government are clueless, a bunch of rich little fools who have never tasted what its like to be even slightly poor and never will

  7. Unless they are fully nationalised with all profits going back to the public then they are not paying enough tax.

  8. Firstly, some can’t even afford value brands because of rising energy costs.

    Secondly, they taste fucking nasty.

  9. This is from a man earning £85k with all expenses paid, including accomodation, food and transport. So that £85k is essentially all take home. He says this like he doesn’t think the poorest in society know how to budget.

Trust me. They know. And not by choice either.

  10. Wow I had never thought of doing this – buying cheaper products to offset the cost of living?? Thank the lord for our wise leaders.
