The Australian Winter Olympic Team has presented their uniform for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
Canberra was the setting for Team Australia to unveil their kits on Wednesday (6 November), with the picturesque background of the Snowy Mountains. The date represents exactly three months until the Winter Games begin in Italy.
Olympic curlers Dean Hewitt and Tahli Gill were on hand to showcase the uniforms, alongside aerial skiing stars Abbey Willcox and Reilly Flanagan.
The kits feature indigenous artwork, and there is a special touch on the inside of the clean white blazers: the Olympian Oath and names of every Australian Winter Olympian are sewn into the internal lining.
“To see our names listed among so many remarkable Olympians gives me shivers down my spine and a deep sense of gratitude,” said Beijing 2022 Olympian Gill. “It reminds me how far we’ve come, and how special it is to stand as part of something much bigger than ourselves.”
Milano Cortina 2026 gets underway on 6 February 2026 across northern Italy, running through to 22 February 2026.
