I don’t see Roderick O’Gorman moving families out of own door student accommodation and in to hotels or direct provision style accommodation in September to accommodate students. It’d be politically toxic.
Seems like the hope is that by September they’ll have lots of accommodation sourced from local authorities. I hope they do, but I wouldn’t be optimistic. Local authorities haven’t been able to deliver that kind of service up to now, and I don’t see any changes that are likely to deliver it.
