Grammy-nominated R&B singer Omarion is set to release his new album O2 in 2026.
The upcoming project, to be issued in partnership with Create Music Group, is a nod to his debut solo album, O (2005), which includes classics like the title track and “Touch.”
O2 will include the lead single, “For War,” a heartfelt ballad that finds Omarion standing at the frontlines of a relationship worth saving. “We normalized dysfunction, love still found a way / To get us through our trauma, cut that drama / Or will you sacrifice?” he sings.
Regarding his new single, Omarion shares, “If love is the battlefield, ‘For War’ is the anthem for the warriors who fight with heart, not ego. Some fight for fame, some fight for love — but ‘For War’ reminds you the real battle is keeping your peace when the world tests your soul.”

Omarion’s O2 will follow Full Circle: Sonic Book Two, the sequel to Full Circle: Sonic Book One, both of which were released in 2023.
Comparing the two, Omarion told Rated R&B in a 2023 interview, “Sonic Book One is more of what I feel people want to hear. I think we are in a space where people want to hear upbeat music.” He added, “Sonic Book Two is more in-depth. It’s deeper. It’s needed to put the listener in more of a reflective state.”
Not only will Omarion release his eighth album in 2026 but he will also reunite with his B2K groupmates for the B2K Boys 4 Life Tour, slated to kick off in the spring. Tour dates have not been unveiled at this time.
Earlier this year, Omarion announced his partnership with Create Music Group, joining a roster that includes Jason Derulo, Keri Hilson, Tyrese, Durand Bernarr and more.
“Great music needs a great home — and with Create Music Group, I found a team that matches my frequency,” said Omarion. “We’re tuned in, locked in, and ready to make music history…..Again.”
