I booked through Bravofly, and in my app it clearly says:
“With your flight fare, it is unfortunately possible to change the date. If you cannot travel on the booked date, we recommend cancelling this flight and booking a new one.”
Honestly – how would you understand that?
To me, it clearly means that a change is possible.
But Bravofly claims that it’s not allowed, and they just keep referring to the airline (in my case, Delta). I’ve contacted them several times, but their replies have been rude, without any signature or contact name, and they completely ignore what I’m actually asking.
I honestly feel not taken seriously at all – almost as if they’re treating me like a liar. I even pointed out that it might be a translation or system error, but they don’t care at all.
What do you think?
👉 Is this just a translation mistake, or should Bravofly be held responsible for such misleading wording?
👉 Would you contact legal protection / insurance in a case like this?
I’m really disappointed by how they handle customers and wonder how many others had the same bad experience with Bravofly.
It’s clearly a typo and supposed to say “not possible” instead of possible, if you use common sense and read the actual sentence.
Legally though, idk. I doubt they’re going to give you anything unless forced to by a lawyer. And I doubt a lawyer can force anything based on a typo in an app error message when there’s likely actual binding terms starting that the ticket cannot be changed, which would have been readily available to you at the time of purchase.
Bottom line, rebook as they’ve suggested. Or waste your money and energy trying to fight this until your desired flight is sold out and there are cancellation fees for your current ticket. You call.
Typo seems pretty clear but there is a little grey zone to fight it. Chances are still low. Legal protection would probably not cover this but give it a try, nothing to loose if you ask

Hey everyone,
