1. Microsoft going, oops did we support the IDF’s bombing campaign in gaza, and then stopped some part of their support.

   Or perhaps google and someone else, who had arranged to send out coded messaged to Israel if a foreign court started investigating their connection with Israel

   Maybe HP wo runs the ID system in west bank

   Or more generally all the cloud support microsoft/amazon provide the IDF.

2. Yea imagine decapitating your most profitable investments and disrupting your entire country’s welfare state over a distant allied nation’s use of the technology in a conflict you have no part or interest in. Not to mention they’d be pissing off other major allies by playing the morality police with zero upside besides partisan optics. Looks like Norway isn’t as suicidally empathetic as some would hope

3. Ethics go out the door when you personally need to foot the bill.

   Easy to promote diversity and all the rest when its you pretending it’s others who are the problem.
