  1. The amount of WINNING and HOPE we’re getting this week is just… amazing.

Hey MAGA Cult, if you think this kinda winning is bad, just wait till midterms. Your baby boy can cry all he wants, just understand ya’ll did this to yourselves by backing a pedophile. The blue wave is just going to get stronger and stronger now. 🙂

  2. Anyone have any idea of when they will release their decision?

  3. The Supreme Court is his bitch. Something tells me they will still do his bidding. This one is too big for Trump.

  4. Honestly, I could see the SC ruling against tariffs anyways because most corporations aren’t going to lower their prices back down. The damage is already done.

  5. I expect we are going to see some weird ruling saying Trump did not have the power to place the tariffs but they will allow them to remain in place and it must be congress that reigns Trump in not the court.

  6. The corruption of scotus by big business is working in favor of the American people this one time.

  7. What in the fucking AI slop. Even Newsweek’s better than that jesus christ.

  8. So it’s going to be another fuck the everyday citizen who had to pay these tariffs at the register. Not the first time our Government has screwed over the consumer.

  9. What are the betting odds that he’s already funneled the money to himself/family.

  10. And guess what?!

No one is going to lower their prices even if they get their tariff “tax” paid returned to them. Winning.

  11. Trump knows the tariffs are a tax on the middle and poor. That money was going to be used to give the top 1% a tax break. Now, Trump et al. will have to pay back billions on top of crippling the economy since there won’t be money to offset the tax break.

  12. The damage is done. You can’t unscramble the egg here. Supply chains have been devastated. Manufacturing has contracted, small businesses have been driven out of the market, and for most people real wages are either stagnant or falling.

    And it was entirely predictable.

  13. In my wildest fantasies SCOTUS requires the government to pay back tariffs and my company cuts everyone a fat check for suffering through navigating the tariffs.

  14. The fat lady hasn’t sung yet. Remember, they ALL testified that Roe was settled law during their confirmation hearings.

  15. Doesn’t matter what they rule, the US economy is backsliding and cracking so badly, it’s rather scary to see just how few Americans actually aware of what a precarious situation our whole structure is in right now… there’s so much fucking less stability than most people think there is at the moment…!

  16. If this happens investors will dump US treasuries spiking interest rates. Bond markets will fuck the US economy. Job market is already turning negative. Everything is pointing towards a recession.

You are misguided if you believe overturning the tariffs will revert prices and the economy as a whole.

These are the unintended consequences of putting morons in charge of fiscal policy.

  17. Add DOGE to this disaster.

Nobody talks about DOGE’s « success » and the trillions of dollars it was supposed to save. No one.

Well, it is estimated it will actually cost Americans about 135 billion dollars while the savings are estimated at around 5 billion, and let’s not talk about disastrous consequences for jobs and public services like everyone except MAGA predicted. Strangely, they never speak about it anymore. So much winning.

  18. Why didn’t SCOTUS just refuse to hear this case? They refused to hear over 200 cases this session.

  19. Guess who isn’t getting their money back for tariffs? Us. We had to pay more but the companies will get their money back but again we get boned. Companies will probably not bring prices down either because why would they lower their profits. I fucking hate all of this so much.

  20. This was his MO the first time too. Do illegal things until the court stops it and move on to the next illegal thing without consequences. This time there’s also a dash of just ignoring the courts, so that’s fun.

Our system was not designed to stop this and it scares me.

  21. Trump has shown, from time and time in history, that he will disregard any court’s ruling if he doesn’t like it.

What makes people think that he would treat SCOTUS any different?

  22. Honestly I feel like they will give Trump a favorable ruling one way or another. This is after all, the same court that give him immunity to do literally everything and Trump even “thanked” Roberts several months ago…

  23. I wanted to believe this then Roberts starts signaling with his made-up concept of “external facing” taxes.

Do not underestimate the corruption of this Supreme Court.

  24. I’ll only believe this after they revoke his power to single handily invoke them.

Because so far this stacked court has been nothing but anti-precedent, anti-American & anti-law but pro Trump causing incalculable damage.

  25. Neal Katyal ripped the defense a couple new ones, so I’m sure that helped. He’s a brilliant lawyer and a former Deputy Solicitor General, and I actually wouldn’t be surprised to see him get a SCOTUS nod at some point. He’s a true scholar of the law and knows that bench and its inner workings like the back of his hand and has worked many, many cases there.

  26. Where exactly did the tariff money go? I’m guessing Argentina?
