  1. Brave move picking a fight with a pub frequented by politicians. Probably more go there than those that live around the area.

  2. “Imagine buying a flat a minute walk from Trafalgar Square and then complaining about crowds and noise”

Their complaints seem to be based on crowds of pissed up twats blocking the street. The street doesn’t belong to the pub, so it seems fair enough that residents shouldn’t have to push their way through these people just to get to their own front door. It’s really up to the pub to ensure their customers don’t block the whole street, rather than up to the residents to put up with it.

  3. Just sayin’

that’s a long walk for a drink, wandering amongst the hoi-polloi, all the way up to Trafalgar square, when the red lion is almost opposite downing street, and there are bars inside Parliament, where they can get rat-faced without meeting the paparazzi and having to stagger 1/2 KM back to work afterwards

  4. What utter rot! Its not even the only pub at that location and WofW is down an alley round the back. its hardly a hot bed of noise and trouble!

  5. Walkers of Whitehall? More like wankers of whitehall

  6. Would they be doing swabs in the bathrooms to see if there are traces of cocaine ?

As it seems very popular in all sections of society.

  7. Cobblers. Much better and quieter places closer to WM though no one drinks round there out of choice.

  8. The law should be passed allowing you to complain about noise if you don’t have certain types of windows 🪟 because we can’t stop the economy because living in a commercial area.
