Medieval church of St. Anna in Vilnius from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. Built in the “Flame Gothic” style. Founded by the King of Poland – Grand Duke of Lithuania, Aleksander Jagiellonian.

  1. According to a well-known legend, Emperor Napoleon, after seeing the church during the Franco-Russian War in 1812, expressed a wish to carry the church home with him to Paris ‘in the palm of his hand’.
