I’m so damn tired of all the misinformation on Reddit. This was taken completely out of context. Russia’s next-generation logistics strategy includes many newly created techniques, never before seen in a military campaign.
This video is the perfect example. It shows a novel means of rapidly unloading small craft when port equipment isn’t available.
Rather than wait for a mobile crane to show up or use a much slower deck crane, the entire ship is rotated on its longitudinal axis until the cargo is offloaded. In the bottom-right of the frame, you can see a stevedore gathering fragile items that were directed to a water area to avoid damaging them.
Cutting-edge logistics is a hallmark of the Russian military. It angers me to see such a creative naval strategy mocked as if it were the result of incompetence instead of innovation.
