I saw this ad in the public transport and it just seems too good to be true. The font and design looks like a scam in my opinion, very poorly designed, that's why I am worried. Has anyone tried it or has a suggestion?

it’s a new subsidiary from Sunrise, definitely not a scam
It’s comparable to other cheap offerings, so it’s probably not a scam. Check Dschungelkompass or Alao for similar deals.
Sunrise will auch ein Billigangebot, wie Salt mit Go-Mo.
**STOP CALLING EVERYTHING A FUCKING SCAM!**
FFS
Not more than any other phone companies in Switzerland. Imagine if they make a business with those number how much they were making before ?..yeah..a loooot
There are no miracles. Not a scam but a mine field of hidden costs and service charges.
Just looking at the website, they slap a 40 CHF activation fee, 60 for a replacement SIM, 40 if you want to change the product. They also charge extra for small things like detailed proof of connection.
Other providers like Digital Republic / Spusu offer pretty similar prices and more flexibility without these additional costs.
Edit: In their “limited offer” they don’t charge the activation fee I mentioned.
I saw their ad in Instagram. Their account was only created about 4 days ago. Same thought about the ad design.
I went to sunrise stores to ask if they are familiar with chmobile or with the offer, but they cannot confirm.
Called the sunrise helpline and got into contact with a sales representative who is also not aware.
Saw a post in 20minutes (in german) that it is a chmobile is a new arm of sunrise but still not sure.
I tried to register but stopped when they are asking for my id.
Haven’t seen the next 2 steps after this. Has anyone continued and was able to register and use the service?
It says 9.90chf with free activation. What are the hidden fees?
very attractive price specially with no activation fees..
also i notice call abroad are not included and are 2chf/min so something to beware
I was wondering if i could use this on a router to use the 5g to have internet at home for 10CHF/month or if they would reduce the speed as some other contracts the speed as is common?
Edit: looked online and see they have a fair usage limit
>2. INTENDED USE CH
mobile’s services shall be provided for the normal types of use they are intended for. In practice, this means, among other things, the following:
• The intended use of CHmobile mobile subscriptions includes the mobile use of smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart watches and other mobile devices.
• Unless individual products are expressly intended to do so, the mobile subscriptions are not intended to replace the fixed-network internet. This applies, for example, to the stationary use of a SIM card in a router or hotspot device.
Doesn’t look like a scam, but if you need work or pkay online games and stable internet, Swisscom (check Wingo) has the best reliability.
Sunrise and Salt networks are…meh
