Birmingham
Yes, but violent crime is down /s
May be caused by severe depression.
Birmingham Man.
I’m not making any assumptions except for the one I’ve already made
Unprovoked attack doesn’t mean that the two were strangers. Statistically, it’s far more likely to be an ex or someone known to her than a British stranger or an immigrant.
Wakey wakey
Nice to see Birmingham living up to its reputation. Utter shit hole.
Hope the attacker is dealt with swiftly.
Hmm, I wonder why Birmingham in particular is such a shithole??
Ah man. That’s not good for Labour, not good at all. Maybe they could try an information campaign and hand leaflets to the arrivals about how stabbing is not a british value. Or possibly ban knives again. Something’s got to be done. Not good at all.
Another case of MeNtAl HeAlTh I suppose🙈
We’ll be walking about in stab vests soon ffs…
You can’t have it both ways.
The NHS is clearly on its knees, and this woman was probably preventing what was surely a doctor from getting to his surgery.
My question is, unprovoked or random?
Did he know her, or was it literally a case of stab a random woman in the street?
For fucks sake
Hopefully the woman has a swift recovery.
The “British national having a mental health crisis” strikes again
That Air China leaflet, which warned Chinese citizens visiting the UK to stay away from *certain areas* with high amounts of *certain people*, should be put back into print and distributed to every household in the UK. It would save lives.

What the fuck is happening in this thread, the most xenophobic, medieval, hateful, politicised, shit I’ve seen on Reddit. It’s like a daily mail comments section, wtf.
A “man”.
It wouldn’t have been a Maccabi Tel Aviv fan cos they were banned from Birmingham
> “We believe this was an unprovoked attack and are working to understand why it happened,” said Det Insp James Nix.
I think most people are far past the point of caring why these people do things like this so often and so disproportionately. I don’t care why, I no longer want to understand, I just want them gone.
☐ Lack of youth clubs and table tennis sets
☐ Mental health crisis
☐ Billionaires
Which of the above boxes will you tick to explain this, dear redditor?
I want factual reporting and common sense laws and enforcement.
Race, creed, etc shouldn’t matter HOWEVER if you see a trend regardless what it is, surely it indicates a problem.
I work in IT and if I see more tickets for X system having Z error that’s something I need to fix I can’t ignore it and go oh but that errors okay because at least its not Y error, or what about when we got ABC error. It’s a problem that needs fixing. Regardless of the source. And if it’s an error because someone’s plugged something in we stop things being plugged in and work out better practices and procedures. Like maybe vetting what we plug in before it’s plugged in. To make sure the thing isn’t going to fuck the current environment and actually integrate with our system and make it better.
And if it’s something already in the system that’s gone haywire we upgrade it, decommission it/retire it.
Now I know people are not software etc but it’s that logical, emotionless , measured approach I think we need. I’m not saying deport ppl like USA but actually punish the people committing crimes again regardless of race, creed, religion, colour, gender, mental health and if we can’t maintain it then make immigration harder and enforce our borders, improve our education, policing, health care. I don’t think that’s racist, if some one has a legit reason to come, there’s a process, and if those processes are not good enough we need to make them better.
They need to make it that carrying a knife in public, carrys an instant custodial sentence
“We are working to understand why it happened”
I think we can all take a pretty decent guess
Bruh, I’m not even in UK but it looks like every day or week there’s at least one news of “unprovoked attack” of stabbing.
Just another isolated incident.
I wonder if the details will surprise me this time…
“Unprovoked attack”? Does any woman deserve to be stabbed in the neck? Jesus…
He was probably just trying to help her. I’m guessing he was probably a doctor of some kind. We’re so blessed 🙏
Doctor or engineer?
Whenever they don’t reveal the characterists of the suspect straight away, you just damn well know what’s going on ahaha. It’s so painfully obvious, I don’t know why they keep up the charade.
The bbc has this has a little side story on the website homepage, you would actually miss it unless actively looking.
RemindMe! 2 days
Weird, don’t the criminals with no background checks and no English and no similar culture know that you can’t be stabbing people?
We’ve told the citizens that they better not! So what’s going on?!
Fk me, this thread is dripping in anticpated confirmation bias.
I hope the attacked person makes a quick recovery and the person responsible is treated appropriately according to the law.
I lived the first half of my life in Asia, and the second half in the UK (now). I don’t understand why violent crime is so prevalent in the UK compared to the country I came from. Aren’t people meant to be better educated with a better society?
