Just another day in Switzerland

  1. I assume its like Israel where their meant to be able and equiped but allowed to carry on with normal things?

So people in everything from a date dress, to swim wear and regular clothes with a rifle or pistol is just considered one of those random quirks of thr country.

  2. If this were the UK, the Daily Mail would ignore the obvious, zoom in for a photo of the empty space on the milk shelf and run a story about panic buying and shortages.

  3. I think it’s illegal to stop to shop at Migros whilst carrying the rifle even if it’s in the Bahnhof. You’re supposed to go straight from home to the shooting range and back, but most ignore the odd rule breaking.

It’s all fun and games until the SWAT is called in, which technically the Migros staff can do, AFAIK.

  4. In the rest of Europe our meat is already dead when it reaches the store. Guess it’s a bit different in Switzerland

  5. Muzzle awareness much?

That points at every person who walks by. It is brandishing and this person should be arrested.

Carry the f@cking phallic symbol safely. Or go get mental help so the big boi can buy milk without open carry…. unarmed like my 98 year old nana does everyday.

  6. If I saw a gun in Polish grocery shop I’d freak out. I wish gun laws were at least similar to Swiss in Poland though.

  7. that’s probably just the latest top of the line swiss knife. they replace the small scissors with a rifle for increased versatility.

  8. Most gun owners in Switzerland were formerly in the defence forces as far as I know, so most are very highly trained with firearms.

  9. I wouldn’t mind people carrying guns like that here in the states if they were dressed normally like he is and carrying the weapon in a bag like that on his back. Instead we get freaks all dressed in camo like they are ready to shoot everyone
