I’m not familiar with the civil service grades but I’m finishing up a social sciences (quantitative) PhD and would like to work in policy research type jobs after that. Anyone knows what competitions would be most relevant for that? Are there like skills-specific campaigns or??
Would definitely recommend going for it, to anyone interested it is a long process but worthwhile especially if you feel you are in a rut and looking for something new with better progression.
Eligibility requires *either* a Level 7 QQI Award (ordinary degree) *or* a minimum of 5 Cs / H4s in Higher Level for leaving cert.
