Poland’s highest mountain peak, Rysy, is easily visible from this lake and is also on the border with Slovakia. It -might- be the one on the top-left of the picture, although it’s been years since I was there.
Been there in September 2019, the lake is a 9 km walk from the parking lot and it was a 9 km packed line of people. I’ve never seen such a thing, almost a literal traffic jam in nature. It’s beautiful, but make sure to pick your date carefully.
