Banca Generali has been named “Best Private Bank in Italy” by the Financial Times Group, which honored the bank during an international ceremony held in London, which brought together the world’s leading private bankers. This is the seventh time in the last nine years that the Lion-owned private bank has received this prestigious award, which draws on the independent judgment of industry professionals and journalists from Professional Wealth Management (PWM) and The Banker. The awards recognized its leadership in personalized wealth management and investment services, innovation, and growing focus on SMEs with the Intermonte transaction.
“We are honored by the attention we receive from the FT Group’s publications, recognizing the commitment of the entire Banca Generali team. For a decade, we have built a transparent and constructive dialogue with the market and the international financial community, which the London-based group’s publications represent, demonstrating our desire to chart a unique path in our industry, focusing not on short-term objectives but on sustainable growth, valuing people and all stakeholders, thus creating value for the entire system over the years,” stated Banca Generali’s CEO. Gian Maria Mossa”To do this,” he continues, “we seek to address emerging market challenges by continually raising the bar in our pursuit of innovation and excellence, always comparing ourselves to best practices in the broadest sense. This includes our experiences in asset tokenization with Conio, the implementation of AI in our operations, the latest frontier in fund customization, and our commitment to bringing private savings closer to the real economy.” Since receiving first place from the FT in 2016, our assets have increased by nearly 140 percent, and the stock has approximately tripled in value. This growth trend continues, and with the innovations of new projects like insurbanking and Intermonte’s focus on SMEs, important new opportunities are opening up. I sincerely thank all the people at Banca Generali and our Group who contribute to these goals every day, sharing this recognition with them,” concludes Mossa.
