Strikes hit Amazon in Germany in the run up to Christmas

  1. Let’s hope this doesn’t mean lots of children without presents this Christmas in Germany. Sounds like they need to start buying gifts now to get them hopefully delivered in time. This strike coupled with supply chain issues, not good.

Here’s hoping this strike action doesn’t catch on across Europe.

Edit: LMAO, one Christmas without consumerism, what total hypocrisy and total bollocks, every single person in here will be buying present and gifts this Christmas. Lol, this subreddit. ><

  2. Good. We don’t need a monopolistic company run by an egomaniac ass who steals billions from European taxpayers by their tax avoidance schemes.

  3. In Spain we are going to have a strike by truckers because the Government is going to make us pay to use all three highways in the country, even those that are already paid for and had become free.

  4. Amazon isn’t stupid. There is redundancy from neighbouring countries. Guess well see more Prime trucks driving on Autobahn 2

  5. It seems like this exact story happens every year and yet the company is still in business the next season, I don’t think this is having the effect people think it does.

Maybe it will be different with the labor shortage but I doubt it.
