  1. I lived for years in Madrid, Canary Islands, and Miami. Trust me you do not want to spend the summer there. 30 (even 30+) degrees is the perfect upper limit. I’ve seen Augusts of constant 40+ with and without humidity and your not able to live a normal life

  2. The author of this crap meme has never visited during Summer, CH is awesome – lakes, mountains, rivers, boating, hiking, cycling, camping, motorbiking, music festivals every two weeks, pubs and restaurants with terraces in gorgeous old towns … all within a half hour train/car/bike ride from any point in the country. Who needs AC ? And if you really can’t live without, you can get a cheap one from Landi.

  3. Switzerland is fantastic in the summer. Both the American and Norwegian side of the family love to visit during this time.

  4. Oh yeah, who wouldn‘t want to spend summer in a country where lakes and rivers are so clean that you can spend every day in them, even if they are in the middle of the city. A country where there‘s a decent culture of just hanging out outside in the evening, drinking with your friends. A country, where there are beautiful mountains with mountain lakes, where you can cool off. Sounds truly terrible.

  5. Agree!

Weather in Switzerland sucks, especially in Zürich area. Least amount of sun hours per year besides Iceland and Faroer Islands!

Don´´´´t believe it? Look it up!

  6. Summer in Suisse Romande is great! Lots of sunny days (ok, last year it was an exception), low humidity, mountains close by, a lake if you live in almost any of the big cities / towns. The low humidity makes air-con not really a necessity.
