I’ll feel less bad about voting Plaid if it gets Starmer fired
I’m sure he cares deeply about Wales (said no English MP ever)
Labour wipe out at the Senedd and council elections won’t be the end for Starmer. He’ll see it through until the next GE. Bringing in another leader next year will just strengthen Reform’s position. Only way to take on Reform is to bring in good policies and legislation. Problem will be the impact of them won’t really be felt until after next GE when Farage Ltd will take all the credit and dismantle everything in sight.
Ah the ever reliable anonymous briefings.
Starmer isn’t going anywhere.
Normal service will be resumed at the next General Election when the UK has another Conservative government, possibly with a Reform coalition.
Everyone will be happy – traditional Conservative voters, racist Reform supporters and of course left wing voters can smugly tell everyone that they voted for one of the parties that had no hope of forming a government, rather than getting their hands dirty.
And thus will begin another decade or so of tax and public service cuts.
