Slovenia, Kosovo’s next opponent in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, as well as Manchester United, are concerned about the condition of striker Benjamin Sesko.
Sesko underwent more detailed medical tests on Sunday to determine the extent of the injury he suffered on Saturday in the dramatic 2-2 draw away to Tottenham.
The Slovenian striker came on in the second half, but was forced to leave the game five minutes before the end of the match after feeling pain after a good scoring opportunity.

“I’m most worried about Benjamin Sesko. It’s clear that the injury is in the knee. In cases like this it’s hard to say how serious it is. We’re a better team with Benjamin and we need him a lot. I don’t know how long he can be out, because knee injuries are unpredictable,” said Red Devils coach Ruben Amorim after the match.
Slovenia hosts Kosovo next Saturday in a crucial qualification match. A draw away from home is enough for Kosovo to secure second place, which would send them into the play-offs for the 2026 World Cup. /Telegraph/
