For people wondering, sand is used in a lot of construction and civil enineering. There’s also not enough of it, making construction costs rise around the globe.
No wonder the Netherlands is bellow sea level.
If my memory of that one Jommeke strip serves me right that would be mol
Mol/Lommel region, Lommel tries to capatlize on the sand they have too with glass constructions and art.
I’m guessing this had a lot to do with “Jan de Nul group”?
