1. Amazed nandy has been able to hang around for so long.

3. So retrospectively she’s saying it wasn’t just about hooliganism and it was also driven by West Midlands Police trying to protect the Islraeli fans from anti-Semitic attacks?

   That’s quite a weasely way to get out of the fact she’d stated the banning of away fans was anti-Semitic, by pretending she meant that the banning of away fans was related to antisemitism…

4. I mean they can’t admit they’re making up charges of antisemitism, that’s how they got their jobs!

   The whole edifice starts to crumble if we start turning over stones of fake antisemitism panics for political purposes.

6. Someone somewhere did the old ‘inaccurate précis’ of the WMP/Safety Group decision to imply that the police couldn’t keep the visiting fans safe.

   Everyone (except football fans) went with it without bothering to verify with WMP. As a piece of agitprop it worked brilliantly.

   I don’t know why Nandy can’t just say she was misled.
