A ‘solution’ for Dublin maybe? It’s a ‘startup’ so would appeal to the tech-obsessed.
What the fuck kind of madness is this. Like a western version of those pods in China and such?
Shrinkflation but for peoples’ living spaces. Psychotic.
Sharing a bathroom with 6 or 7 others? Must be great fun in the morning. We used to laugh at those sleep pods in Japan.
That not just a hostel?
How horribly dystopian
The farts just waft up to you 🤢
Dublin Bay?
>tiny housing
It’s. A. Fucking. Box.
Pretty disgusting. I’m sure we will see similar here in the next year or so.
I suppose $26 a day wouldn’t buy you much else in San Fran. That CEO is a real humanitarian, providing for the poorest in the Bay Area and yielding $6400 a month from a basic 3 bed family home (normal rent in the area of $2400).
It goes to show that it could always be worse.
Most of us end up rotting in a wooden box anyway,(unless you’re immortal or cremated) why not expedite the process that is life.
>The rest of the home has two bathrooms, a kitchen and communal space.
For 14 people?
Sounds like a nightmare to me
A true startup would be trying to get others to set up the homes for them.
“Be your own landlord”
Do they get bugs included in that price?
So much wrong with this but even from a practical point of view they don’t even have the decency to throw up any acoustic absorption
Proper dystopian shit creeping into society now. Give it another 10 years and lets see how far we’ve fallen.
