1. I thought that the last few years would have been enough of a sign that we need a switch asap

   I guess we are trying to look away as the economy is struggling, but acting as if its “no biggie” is just absurd

2. They were interested when they thought they could make money out of the ‘green economy’ but now they are making their money off other areas, they aren’t so interested.

3. A handful of countries have tried, the rest, including the richest country in the world America, doesn’t give a shit and just burns coal and oil with zero regulations. It’s rather demoralizing and basically pointless considering how small a sliver of the total pollution these countries contribute.

   Well the global north keeps voting in right wing governments that don’t care about Climate Change so we have to hope China properly leads the was as per the article.

   My country voted in a right wing government and we didn’t even send a reprentative to COP30 and missed all our goals these last years, from being a frontrunner. It was clear when we put an uneducated 25 year old as Environment Minister.

5. Climate Change is the global equivalent of a person having to do something unpleasant but necessary, and as it turns out humanity as a whole consists of spoiled children.

6. Better have more conferences then! More meetings! In ever more exotic and luxurious settings! 

   And some more words to beat the character limit. And even more. And even more because I didn’t pad this enough the first time what a stupid rule for a stupid species on a burning planet. 

7. You mean the billionaires that won’t suffer from it successfully brainwashed enough of rich countries’ voters so that no one will prevent them from getting richer?
