1. Even if Russia manages to take Pokrovsk, the price they’ve paid in time, manpower, and resources will haunt them forever. Ukraine’s had ample time to fortify everything behind it. The next town could take two years and another quarter million troops. That’s not a victory – it’s a pyrrhic illusion.
