  1. Guessing the question was “what great red cities”?

    Edit: yep

  2. Reasonably I cannot think of one red city I’d desire to run to, certainly hide in, like one would hide out in Columbia or the Philippines, but not run to.

  3. No such thing as a great red city besides that why would I want to blue states are the best red states are shit holes and low IQs

  4. I’m pretty sure there aren’t any. There can be good cities in red states but they’re blue cities like Austin, Houston, TX for example and others.

  5. Ah, the mythical great red city. Also known as “schitty”.

  6. She means all the blue cities that keep libertarian red states afloat

  7. She meant cities with the word “red”. Like Redmond, Redding and Redondo Beach.

  8. Which one is great? She must mean in terms of government subsidies per capita.

  9. Red states are otherwise known as “fly over states”, and it’s for a reason. No one wants to go there.

  10. Was the question “who the fuck is Tomi Lauren?”

  11. There don’t seem to be any red cities that are decent size.

  12. I think, more importantly, we need to convince Republicans that it is time to move out of Great BLUE Cities.

  13. >Those words sure were [funny](https://www.comicsands.com/funny-news/) coming from someone whose social media profile advertises they live in Nashville, Tennessee—a blue city in one of the reddest of states.

Every city in Tennessee is “blue” so this isn’t just her living in some island of blue. Knoxville, Chattanooga and especially Memphis all have Democratic mayors and mostly Democratic city councils not just Nashville. The thing about TN is it is massive (seriously think about how long it is) and more of the population actually lives in the countless rural areas and small towns across the state. That makes it a “red” state. It is like that in literally every part of the country. The main divide between if a state is “red” or “blue” is entirely based on how much of the population is urban vs. how much is rural. It should come as no surprise that the swing states of course have a more balanced population.

At this point I’m beyond over people trying to characterize entire states based on the electoral college. Yes, that is how we elect the president and it determines Senators. That said every “blue” state has extremely Republican areas (think upstate New York) and every “red” state has left leaning meccas like Austin or Atlanta. It’s ridiculous.

Also as someone who lives in one of these areas people are moving to, these aren’t exactly liberals moving in. Generally these are more right wing people who move to be around “people like them”. Unfortunately they then gravitate to the cites to maintain services like where they are from and then of course are surrounded by people like the ones they left who don’t particularly like them. The local conservatives don’t care for them either because there is a WORLD of difference between some TN conservative and a douche bag from Long Island. They aren’t “like them at all! They then complain the entire time they live there making everyone just hate them even more. There’s my on the ground read on the transplants coming to conservative states

  14. Nashville is blue honey. You should move to Opp Alabama.

  15. Blue states should stop funding red states…

    Effective immediately!
