The scene was a five star hotel in the Saudi capital which is as notorious as it is opulent.
The reason for the Riyadh Ritz-Carlton’s notoriety is that it was central to the Arab state’s violent purge of hundreds of its most powerful royals, tycoons and ministers.
The 2017 crackdown saw dozens of Saudi’s ‘old guard’ beaten and tortured – with many of the most disturbing scenes unfolding at the Ritz-Carlton.
But the hotel’s owners had done everything possible to banish such dark memories as they organised an altogether more genteel event last week, billed as ‘afternoon tea with Princess Beatrice of York’.

And some people disagreed when I said that the York girls are a scandal waiting to happen on another post.

Not a great look. This is like on par with the Riyadh Comedy Festival. 2017 is really recent time to have “crack downs” that sound illegal. And I generally like Beatrice and Eugenie, but I truly don’t know much about either of them.
They are as rotten as their mother. No morals or values. All greed and money-driven.
Throw the whole York family away lol
Doesn’t anyone above her have to approve these type of controversial meetings?
Distraction from H&M going to Bezos place?
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as the old saying goes.
Ewww Bea

Once again, there’s no such thing as a good Royal.
She should sue the Daily Mail. She works for an international investment firm and she’s been in the Middle East dozens of times for them
Moderating a seminar is something numerous VPs due across the wor every week
That’s why non working royals should be banned to use their titles in their personal working lives. Period. Charles should issue another letter of patent.
The invitation says hosted by Princess Beatrice of York. You would think she would lay low after all the news.
I feel like that girl doesn’t have two cents to rub together in her head! Naive and ignorant. I think she means well but she always does the wrong thing. Love her but she’s as daft as her father!
Just my opinion, rubbing shoulders with the Saudi royalty is bottom-of-the-barrel gross because of every single thing they stand for, but desperate times call for desperate measures I suppose?
