Week 10 marked a tough week for some of the league’s top teams: The Bills fell to the struggling Miami Dolphins as part of an apparent mid-season slump, while the Patriots held off the Buccaneers and the Ravens rallied over the Vikings.
Then on Tuesday, the Jaguars delivered bad news. Two-way rookie star Travis Hunter underwent season-ending surgery to repair the LCL in his right knee. Hunter had been on injured reserve with the injury that he suffered in practice since Oct. 31.

Hunter, the Jaguars and medical staff ultimately decided that the injury required surgery to repair. The Jaguars expect Hunter to be able to return to football activities in six months.
Giants fans are awaiting news about quarterback Jaxson Dart, who left New York’s loss to the Bears early with a concussion. Russell Wilson stepped in to replace Dart, but Chicago QB Caleb Williams came alive to lead the Bears to the win.
What we do know is that the Giants have officially moved on from head coach Brian Daboll after a 2-8 start in the 2025 season, with offensive coordinator Mike Kafka stepping in as interim head coach.
Bengals fans got some good news on Monday morning, as the team has officially activated the 21-day practice window for quarterback Joe Burrow, who is set to practice in a limited capacity this week in his return from a toe injury. Though head coach Zac Taylor confirmed Burrow wouldn’t play in Week 11, it’s a huge step for the star quarterback and a potential indication that his rehab is ahead of schedule; it was initially reported that the injury and subsequent surgery would sideline Burrow for three months.

And the Commanders officially got word that defensive tackle Cameron Payne, who was ejected for punching Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown in the helmet, has received a one-game suspension from the league. Washington will travel overseas to play the Dolphins in Madrid in Week 11 for the final international game of the season.
Over in the NFC West, the Seahawks are putting on some of the best defensive performances since the Legion of Boom era. In the first half of Sunday’s division rivalry game against the Cardinals, Seattle defenders Tyrice Knight and DeMarcus Lawrence completed a forced fumble-turned-scoop-and-score twice. The Seahawks rolled to a blowout win over Arizona despite some second-half turnovers.
That performance sets up a particularly exciting matchup in Week 11, as Seattle travels to play the Los Angeles Rams next Sunday.

Travis Hunter’s season is over.
The two-way Jacksonville Jaguars star underwent season-ending knee surgery to repair his LCL on Tuesday, the team announced. While he will miss the rest of his rookie campaign, Hunter is expected to be back to football activities within six months — meaning he’ll be available for the start of the season next fall.

Green Bay Packers center Elgton Jenkins left Monday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles after his leg was rolled up on during a play. Jenkins was able to walk off the field, but x-rays have revealed a lower-leg fracture. Jenkins is a two-time Pro Bowl selection who moved from guard to center this season.

According to Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon, rookie defensive lineman Walter Nolen III’s knee injury status is still to be determined. Nolen has played in just two games this season. He was drafted No. 16 overall by the Cardinals in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Zay Jones will be placed on injured reserve after suffering an Achilles injury, which means his season is done. In eight games this season, Jones caught 12 receptions for 183 yards. Jones will be 31 in March.

New York Jets’ wide receiver Garrett Wilson is expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a knee sprain, according to ESPN’s Rich Cimini. Wilson is rehabbing the injury. No surgery is expected.

The Philadelphia Eagles have activated edge rusher Nolan Smith to the 53-man roster for Monday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers. Smith had been on injured reserve stemming from a triceps injury suffered in Week 3.

Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn told reporters on Monday that he will be taking over as the defensive play caller, getting back to his roots as a DC moving forward. The Commanders lost their fifth game in a row on Sunday, falling to the Detroit Lions 44-22. During the five-game losing streak, Washington has lost four of the five games by double digits and has given up 44 points in two of the losses.

More bad news for a struggling Commanders defense. Starting cornerback Trey Amos has a fractured fibula from Sunday’s 44-22 loss to the Lions.
Head coach Dan Quinn announced the news Monday. Amos’ season is likely over. It’s a difficult blow for the Commanders and one of their promising young players.
The Commanders selected Amos with a second-round pick in April’s NFL Draft. He’s played in all 10 Commanders games this season, including eight starts. He likely finishes his rookie campaign with 32 tackles and six passes defended.

Washington Commanders defensive tackle Daron Payne will appeal the one-game suspension handed down by the league after he punched Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown during Sunday’s loss. Payne took a swing at St. Brown following a Lions touchdown. He won’t be allowed to travel with the team for Week 11 vs. Miami in Madrid, Spain, unless he wins the appeal.
Wideout Terry McLaurin, who’s been out with a quad injury, will travel with the team to Madrid but will not play.

During a press conference on Monday, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told reporters that cornerback Marlon Humphrey might need surgery on his finger.
Harbaugh said that Humphrey would likely be out for a week or two if he does get surgery. But Humphrey could also decide to keep playing with the injury, keeping his finger wrapped up throughout the game.
If he does miss time, it’ll be a significant blow for Baltimore’s defense: Humphrey has 26 solo tackles this season, and picked up his first interception of the season on Sunday as the Ravens surged past the Vikings.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh says he thinks wide receiver Rashod Bateman will be okay after suffering a sprained ankle. Harbaugh also mentioned that rookie linebacker Jay Higgins’ leg injury isn’t a season-ender, but that it will be a few weeks for him to recover.

It was confirmed by Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid on Monday that rookie tackle Josh Simmons is back with the team, but says “we’ll see” as far as his return to the lineup goes. Simmons had been away from the team since early October, tending to a personal matter.
Also, running back Isiah Pacheco may take more time getting over his knee injury, and right tackle Jawaan Taylor’s ankle felt OK by the time he returned from Buffalo in Week 9. The Chiefs were on a bye for Week 10.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson is doubtful to return to practice this week from a hip injury, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Hendrickson hasn’t played since Week 8 against the Jets. The Bengals were on a bye in Week 10.
Hendrickson was not traded at the deadline last Tuesday as expected and will play out the remainder of his one-year deal in Cincy.

Texans’ CJ Stroud, Tytus Howard and Jalen Pitre will remain in concussion protocol, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. All three players were injured during Houston’s Week 9 matchup against the Denver Broncos and missed last weekend’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In Stroud’s absence, backup quarterback Davis Mills stepped up, throwing for 292 yards, two touchdowns, and just one interception. Mills led the Texans to a 26-point fourth quarter, erasing a 19-point deficit in an impressive comeback.
This Sunday, Houston will look to build on last week’s 36-29 win when facing the Tennessee Titans in a divisional matchup.
