Police submitted a prosecutor’s statement to the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court ahead of an indictment against Oren Danan for the murder of Shirley Yehuda about a month ago in Tel Aviv. The investigation began after a report of a burned body found in a public garden at the Yigal Alon-Yitzhak Sadeh intersection in Tel Aviv. It was later discovered that Danan, a convicted pedophile who worked alongside her at the “Ace” chain, strangled her, murdered her and set her body on fire at the murder scene. Immediately afterward, he fled the scene on an electric bicycle toward Jaffa Port, where he threw the victim’s mobile phone into the sea.
