  1. i don’t think france bickering will change anything in regards to this sale, however if america offers 200 million im sure niger would rather sell it to america
also america can use it for the nuclear reactors that need to pop up to drive AI and data centers etc

  2. You’d think Uranium would sell for more, holy moly.
But to be fair, france has been *MASSIVELY* shit to its African countries or countries it has some colonial say in, which is why this move seems unsurprising.

  3. Imperialism is when [not Russia] uses paramilitaries prop up warlords to score contracts for African resources.

When France does it they are filthy imperialists

When Russia does it they are liberators

Isnt that how Russian propaganda works? Something tells me that all the usual suspects in this sub are totally fine with Russia doing something that if done by France would be evil. More Russian hypocrisy and double standards from the world’s biggest crybully.

  4. France doesnt like the fact that the deal is going to be ripping off Niger people, and has a lot of chance of giving uranium to Terrorist

Tho Russia might actually care about protecting the ore so who knows, they might protect the people

At least, the situation seems to be better than in Mali.

Hopefully niger people will have peace and prosperity in the end

I love how clickbaity medias are. I remember articles in the past where China was voicing a disagreement and instead of being titled that way, it was titled like “China FURIOUS/ANGRY/LASHES OUT”, it’s so obvious how certain medias are trying to portray certain countries as the adversary.
