Four and eleven are my favorites.
chest of full of honorary medals is ridiculous on the royals. i dont remember the royals doing this during QEII reign. probably because she was a war time veteran and knew true sacrifice.
They all seem really animated and happy to be there, which is nice. There is also a video of President Obama greeting an Honor Flight that was nice to see. It’s lovely to see all of the veterans basking in the well deserved attention.
These are lovely pictures! 🇬🇧
Why does that photo of William look like he’s doing a workout lunge 😭
The Duchess of Gloucester is lovey.
Is there a certain rule regarding veterans wearing their uniforms instead of a suit with medals, has it to do with the rank they held when they retired?
There is respect and love in the eyes of some of the veterans photographed with both Charles and William.
As a veteran, I love it when they interact with veterans. It’s beautiful ❤️
Disappointed that Catherine wasn’t there.
So, what did we learn? Two adults can both work, even on the same day, while having young kids.
Hopefully we don’t have to hear excuses about school drop off or whatever for any more “work shy” antics.
Do they not feel an ounce or shame wearing their pretend medals in front of people who actually earned them?
This looks like it was lovely. I’m particularly fond of pic 5 (the King smilingly chatting with the woman on his right). And, to be fair, the PoW kneeling to speak with those in wheelchairs was also a nice touch.
Will is the only one under 80 here 🤭
They are all so old 🤣🤣🤣
A very nice event.
Prince William is pure class. Look at the way he kneels to talk to the veteran in the chair, eye to eye.
