    Footage shows dozens of masked Terrorists gathered on hillside as factory, trucks burn below; IDF says it briefly detained several suspects, troops later attacked by group of Terrorists nearby.

  2. The rule of law really has fallen in Israel. 

    Tangential: There is a move to reinstate the death penalty in Israel that looks like it will move forward (only for Arabs of course). Going to be interesting to see if the government feels compelled to have any real due process. Most likely it will just classify a ton of evidence as national security, but if it doesn’t, a gitmo tribunal situation might happen where state abuses and flimsy evidence come front and center in embarrassing ways. 

    I strongly suspect that’s why Israel has held back up to now. A microscope on how the judicial system is currently working would not be favorable.

  3. When YouTube took down those three channels exposing Israeli war and settler crimes, it was a sort of Streisand Effect moment for me because it made me look up some of their deleted content. Just last week, settlers broke into a Palestinian barn and filmed themselves mutilating and killing lambs. In one story they beat several to death with clubs and cinder blocks, in another they used a knife to gouge out their eyes, and left them alive to suffer.

    The more the Israeli government protects them, the more sadistic and unhinged the settlers become. Even after two years, the depth of their depravity still manages to shock me. They really love finding ways to offend and disgust new segments of humanity. And my country protects Israel, because, well, the government is run by blackmailed pedophiles.

    But they won’t win in the end. The system that enables all this is fragile and unstable. People are pushing back in little ways all the time and one of these days it’s going to cascade the other way.
