I usually don’t change my duvet until it hits mid – high 20s as I’m usually always freezing. (I’m the weirdo you’d see wearing a jumper in 28c heat here because I’m still cold.)
This year though I’ve been roasting all winter so I didn’t change from my summer duvet when it got into winter.
Going to stick on a blanket instead in a few weeks so I can get my duvet washed though.
I keep a thermal bottle full of ice water on the beside locker, last 2 or 3 nights. That’s the shizz when ya wake up with the aul dry mouth
r/HydroHomies would like to know your location…
Diabetes has the same effect
Oh pardon us Mrs Fancy two blankets.
I use 1 with 2 options. Arse out or arse in. Sorted
Night Water is best water.
I just use the one light duvet all year round
I love how most of us don’t mentally go by the meteorological calandar still. It’s May, it’s summer. Summer duvet on.
am I the only Irish person who doesn’t melt when the weather goes over 12c ffs?
“Does Marcellus Wallace look like he shops at Des Kellys?”
I had that the other night. Turned out to be covid.
Water bottles? At home?
Notions
We’ve got just one duvet but use different duvet covers. Fall/Winter is a heavy green plaid flannel one and Spring/Summer is light white & blue striped linen one.
I have a one litre thermos flask.
Before going to bed, I fill it from the water filter (kept in the fridge) and pop in four ice-cubes.
The tastiest thing in the world is that first sip when I wake up parched at 4am.
You have to keep one leg outside of the duvet. What are you, an amateur?
