When you wake up during the night with an awful thirst on you cause you haven’t changed to the light duvet yet

  1. I usually don’t change my duvet until it hits mid – high 20s as I’m usually always freezing. (I’m the weirdo you’d see wearing a jumper in 28c heat here because I’m still cold.)

This year though I’ve been roasting all winter so I didn’t change from my summer duvet when it got into winter.

Going to stick on a blanket instead in a few weeks so I can get my duvet washed though.

  2. I keep a thermal bottle full of ice water on the beside locker, last 2 or 3 nights. That’s the shizz when ya wake up with the aul dry mouth

  3. We’ve got just one duvet but use different duvet covers. Fall/Winter is a heavy green plaid flannel one and Spring/Summer is light white & blue striped linen one.

  4. I have a one litre thermos flask.

Before going to bed, I fill it from the water filter (kept in the fridge) and pop in four ice-cubes.

The tastiest thing in the world is that first sip when I wake up parched at 4am.
